Serlena Willis-Miles
Senior Director of Growing Room Too of Columbus
Serlena is from the small town of Richland, Ga. After finishing High School she moved to Columbus, GA to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. Later she met her husband Undray. They have 2 beautiful daughters Undriana and Uriah. They also raised their nephew Alaju.
Serlena began her career with Growing Room in Columbus in 1998 as a part-time paraprofessional, and excelled in the classroom after a year and was promoted to Lead Teacher. After several years in the classroom she was promoted to Assistant Director in 2003. In 2014, she was promoted to Senior Director. During her time at Growing Room she has managed both corporate centers and locally owned centers.
Ebony Walton
Assistant Director of Growing Room Too of Columbus
Ebony was born raised in Columbus, GA. She has been employed by Growing Room Child Development Centers since September of 2011. She started as an Infant Room Assistant Teacher and worked her way up to the K3B Lead Teacher before she was promoted to Assistant Director.
Ebony is currently enrolled at the University of West Alabama to obtain her Bachelors in Elementary Education K-5. She has certificates in Early Childhood Specialist and Early Childhood Care and Education Basic. Ebony’s family includes her son Josiah and her significant other Joseph. Ebony believes children receive the foundation of Education through the Growing Room Way.
